Matthew, Heather & Head Chef Ian are all agreed that local, seasonal, fresh produce, cooked creatively and well is at the heart of a good restaurant.
We are spoilt for choice in the Cotswolds with so many brilliant local producers to work with - Barrington venison & game from our neighbouring estate, locally produced artisan cheeses & freshly baked breads, smoked meats & fish from the Upton Smokery just up the road, not to mention the abundance of fantastic local produce from our surrounding farmers & the odd allotment!
We are the furthest from the sea but are well known, thanks to Matthew’s past links to Brixham’s fisherman Martin & Nigel, for our fabulous fish board featuring the freshest fish & shellfish direct from Devon & Cornwall, all delivered to us on a daily basis.
Children are very welcome and we fully understand that they can sometimes be our most discerning customers – we have a special children’s menu with all the home cooked favourites and many of the dishes on our main menu can be ordered in smaller portions, Ian our Chef is more than happy for ‘special requests’ providing he has the ingredients in the kitchen!
Drop in for breakfast or a mid morning coffee with the paper, enjoy a steaming bowl of mussels over lunch with friends, relax alfresco in the garden or during the colder months by one of our roaring fires, bring the family for our classic Sunday roast or enjoy a romantic meal with a loved one over a fine bottle of Burgundy – The Inn For All Seasons will always meet your needs throughout the day and you will experience great value dining in a friendly & relaxed atmosphere – the Windrush Valley’s hidden gem!
